Lucas Busch: How I Quit My Job and Built Passive Income Streams with Dropshipping and Etsy

Title: How Lucas Busch Quit His Job and Created Passive Income Streams Making $4,010 a Month

Lucas Busch, a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Wilmington, Delaware, found himself unhappy in his job as a business process analyst at a tech firm. However, his life took a turn when he discovered dropshipping on TikTok in mid-2020.

Dropshipping, a method of selling products through a storefront without purchasing inventory, intrigued Busch as a way to generate passive income. He started small by opening an Etsy store selling customizable online stationery, investing less than $20 to get started.

Despite a slow start with only $14.70 in earnings in the first month, Busch persisted and eventually found success. By month three, he made $240.39 on Etsy after fees, and his business continued to grow.

Encouraged by his Etsy success, Busch ventured into dropshipping in May 2021. Setting up a Shopify storefront and using a service called DSers to manage orders, he quickly scaled his dropshipping business, making between $2,000 and $3,000 a month by October 2021.

In November 2021, after only two months of his passive earnings matching his day job salary, Busch made the bold decision to quit his job. Since then, he has been making an average of $4,010 each month from his passive income streams, exceeding his old salary.

Busch now spends about 10 to 15 hours a week managing his income streams, leaving the rest of his time for personal pursuits like spending time with friends, gaming, volunteering, and hanging out with his rescue dog, Gadget.

With determination and a willingness to take risks, Lucas Busch has successfully transitioned from a dissatisfied employee to a thriving entrepreneur, showcasing the power of passive income in creating financial freedom and flexibility.
