Javier Cervera Jr. Makes Bold Move with New Headquarters in Coral Gables

In a strategic move to expand and enhance his real estate firm, Javier Cervera Jr. has relocated the headquarters of Cervera Real Estate Ventures from Brickell to Coral Gables. The new headquarters, located at 3132 Ponce De Leon Boulevard, boasts a spacious 4,000-square-foot building, nearly doubling the firm’s previous headquarters space in Miami.

The acquisition of the new building, purchased for $3.4 million in 2022, marks a significant investment for Cervera Real Estate Ventures. The building, originally completed in 1949, underwent a major overhaul costing approximately $1 million, including upgrades to windows, roof, floors, plumbing, and electrical systems.

“We just left the four walls,” Cervera stated. “Everything was redone.”

Founded in 2005, Cervera Real Estate Ventures is a real estate investment firm that also offers property and asset management services. With a team of about 18 staff members, including property maintenance employees, the firm has established a strong presence in South Florida’s real estate market.

Notably, Cervera Real Estate Ventures is separate from the family’s luxury residential brokerage firm, Cervera Real Estate, led by Alicia Cervera, Veronica Cervera Goeseke, and Alicia Cervera Lamadrid. The firm’s portfolio includes approximately 350,000 square feet of retail space in South Florida, with a focus on long-term asset holding and value enhancement through renovations.

In recent years, Cervera Real Estate Ventures has made strategic acquisitions and divestments in the real estate market, including the sale of multifamily holdings and the purchase of commercial properties. The firm’s asset management division works closely with partners to invest in real estate and manage property financials, while also providing property management services for both its own properties and those of other owners.

Looking ahead, Cervera expressed interest in expanding the firm’s property management services, emphasizing the organic growth of this aspect of the business. While considering potential expansion into commercial real estate brokerage services, Cervera remains focused on the continued success and growth of Cervera Real Estate Ventures in the dynamic South Florida real estate market.
